Curriculum: “Cancer Prevention and Chronic Degenerative Diseases”
The study programme focuses on cancer prevention in all its applied, pre‑clinical, and clinical aspects.
The research and training activities address:
- Primary Prevention: Lifestyle factors, assessment of the health, impact of environmental pollution;
- Secondary Prevention: development of molecular markers for predicting individual risk of oncologic disease,
early diagnosis through advanced biomarker‑based approaches; - Tertiary Prevention: development of applied chemoprevention protocols aimed at reducing the probability of recurrence after recovery, prevention of disease progression.
